The millionaire 💲💲💲

#simple #genuine #flabbergasted

Bhopal to Allahbad

Train no.22129

6 am

Unknown junction

"Lately I've been, I've been losing sleep

Dreaming about the things that we could be

But, baby I've been, I've been praying hard

Said no more counting dollars, we'll be counting stars" listening the counting stars title track by One Republic through my white earphones thinking about the song and playing it in loop again and again observing surrounding and contemplating on the outer busy world. Being in a train especially Indian train is enjoyable cause every time you go for a ride you meet a new person and his old experience, which is most of the time explorable. We find students,uncle-aunties, old senior citizens and ofcourse newly married couples and children . So oftenly a train journey is amazing I should say.

A sweaty hardworking guy with tiny frame and outsourcing eyes enter with a bucket over his head also known as Samosa vendor  ☺ enters and the train has set to an outer area.(age 35, Jitendra was his name )

Then :

Me : how much you make a day uncle? Tough job right ? I guess it wont provide much.

Jitendra: 3000rs. a day but I have to work for nearly 12 hours, walking all day selling samosa from one station to another just like a mouse on a round wheel running continously.

I was just flabbergasted after he said 3000rs. a day

Me: What you do with your savings? Uncle?

Jitendra: Its been morethan 20 years in this field. I buy land in nearby villages and sell it after a designated time. For example 8 years back I bought 3 acre land  for rs.16 lacs and recently I have sold it for 68 lacs. Then I kept 20 lacs for my daughter Sneha and with the remaining 48 lacs I kept 10 lacs and saving invested 38 lacs in buying a 2 acre land again. Thats how my cycle revolves and future is  certain.

Me: Great uncle!

He left.

I was so surprised at his words that it took me 3 minutes to return to normal mode then I started thinking and when thinking startd thoughts start to drag the one other until they make one collapse completely.

We grew up learning if you will not study hard and will not qualify with a degree you are not morethan a nuisance in the society but on the contrary part guys like Jitendra who just 8th pass make money no more than those graduates. Somewhere the problem is in thinking pattern only. Neverthless just a take some time to analyze the whole story.

Jitendra is a perfect example which proves abruptly that education is important but not prior to patience and knowledge. There is not only one way to reach there but there are many.So one should do what he really wants to do.

Thats all!

Do what you love, love what you do :)

Kapil :)

Keep the sparks alive, let the kid inside you be alive :)
